§ 10.08.170. Prohibition of motorized and unlicensed vehicles in public places

  • It is unlawful for any person to use, drive or allow to be driven any unlicensed all terrain vehicle, moped, go-ped, golf cart, minibike, pocket bike, go-cart, motorcycle, motor scooter, motorized skateboard battery powered vehicle other than a wheel chair, or motorized vehicle on a public street, sidewalk or public place. This section shall not apply to golf carts authorized to be driven on the town golf course.

    A. Violation—Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of no greater than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) excluding court assessments and surcharges and a jail term not to exceed four months.
